What had BNI done for my business
I joined BNI in June 2008.
In that time it has helped me raise my profile within the local business community as well a build strong relationships with local professionals.
The result is that I have received referrals worth in excess of £50,000. My joining fee has certainly been covered and I am also building a network that will work for me and provide opportunities in the years to come.
I am also enjoying 6:30 on a Thursday morning, not something I have ever done in business before.
Value of Membership
BNI is providing me with over 30 "shop windows" in the Stoke area, which I would otherwise not have had.
As my work is, by its nature, confidential and few people understand what a business broker/transfer agent is, it is great to have the benefit of a local network, who understand what I am looking for and can provide me with business that otherwise would go to my competitors.
